I might have posted this before in my blog, but I find it very meaningful and true, so here it is.

Note that the 3 stages of scorpio might be jumbled up, and will appear in no particular order in a lifetime, depending on the person.

First Stage: A "stage one" Scorpio exercises power through emotion and instinct. This Scorpio is symbolized by the scorpion, an insect more likely, in the end, to sting itself rather than others. Aggression and instinct are particular features of the Scorpion aspect, which is where the tendency to potential destructive behavior and competitiveness resides.

Second Stage: A "stage two" Scorpio is symbolized by the Golden Eagle and exercises power through the intellect. Golden Eagle Scorpios show signs of maturity above Scorpion Scorpios in that they possess the ability to see what others miss, discern hidden motives, and discover deeper truths beneath the surface of life. This can prove to be either beneficial or exploitative, where while Golden Eagles can indeed use these skills to help invent new medicines, save a patient's life, successfully psychoanalyze the problems of others and help them find purpose, etc., because Scorpios also are known for valuing power and wealth as well, Golden Eagles are nonetheless not above exploiting others to suit their own purposes or interests, and can be used deceptively if not guarded.

Third Stage: A "stage three" Scorpio is symbolized by the Dove of Peace and the Phoenix, which exercises power through love, healing and transformation. The Phoenix represents a Scorpio who has been transformed, and has reached deep within him/herself to embrace the more subtle, mystical qualities of the soul, rather than ones ego, and in result soar to spiritual heights like a bird on the wing. The tendency to be judgmental and power-obsessed is gone, and rather the observational talents of Scorpio are fused with compassion rather than judgment, defeating a life of extremes and polarities and finding greater purpose through self-spiritual development.

Today was a good day for me overall.

Ended school at 1pm. Law Test at 5pm. So after lunch me Sinyee and Wanning booked a room at the library as usual. Chris came over shortly later then we talked and laughed. It was quite nice talking to them, but waiting for the test to commence was such a bore. :(

5pm finally came and had CLSP test in LT 28. Managed to finish on time and briefly check. Saw the marking scheme, got some wrong and missing information here and there. Oh well. Anyw, it's over.

Oh and btw, I've been writing meaningful quotes after completing my exam/test scripts these days. It just seems so fun and meaningful to write down quotes for the marker :)
Sian though.....I couldnt finish the meaningful quote on time for CLSP today. Emo. T_T

Spent a bit more time with Sinyee and Chris, before going to meet Nerdy. Ate at Sumo House + drank Agantea's Milk tea with Herbal Jelly. Super full now. :) Heehee.

What I've learnt thus far:
Friends come and go.
No one stays forever.
One can only cherish and enjoy the time spent with another.

It's nice to make new friends, but I find it nicer to keep current ones and build stronger bonds and create more lasting friendships.

Truth be told, I often find myself being surrounded by a sea of familiar faces, yet not having much friends @ sch.
School hours are long and at school I usually focus on my work. The remaining time I spend it on homework and on Nerd, and finally on myself.
Perhaps....I look like I diao people when I dont smile. I'm cold and aloof at times. Very task-oriented in certain projects. But that's just the way how I am. :)

I dont fake liking people.
I say what's on my mind, though sometimes I talk before I think.
I know who is close to my heart, inside and out of school - And I treasure them :D

It's nice having you around as my friend.
It was very reassuring. Perhaps sometimes I just worry too much :)

So that's about it for today.

The 3 items I bought are:

1) E.L.F Lipstick, $3
For the lipstick, when I first opened it, I was like wow it has a pleasant CHERRY smell ^^

I thought the colour would be close to red. But when I tried it on my lips, they turned out to be overly shimmery and PINK.  I was disappointed, cos I aint really like shimmery stuff on my face. The quality of the lipstick aint that good too.

One good thing was that the staying power on the lips is great.

But since it's cheap, I'll keep it and use it for perhaps, during the holidays.

2) E.L.F Cool Bronzer, $6
Have been wanting to get a bronzer for perhaps a month or so. Gmarket sells this bronzer at 7 plus. I thought it was expensive for a product from an online  store, so I decided to wait. But when I saw this at $6 @ the NYP bazaar, I thought I should purchase it :D

I was pleasantly surprised it came with a compact mirror. :)
There are 4 colours, and you're supposed to mix them altgt. This would give you an even matte look.

Have yet to try this on my face though.

NYX Super SKINNY Marker(Eyeliner), $9
When I tried this on my hand, I was like wow. It can draw so thin. I usually like eyeliners with thin tips.
I went home to try on my eyes. The tip of the pen indeed was thin. It was however quite harsh on my lids. I'm also not sure if it's waterproof, but once the lids are rubbed, the eyeliner will come off - It's not really rub proof.

I still need some time to know if it's good. But overall at present, I find it quite okay :)
