Me with my new TonyMoly eyeliner <3 Love it though it fades away after a few hours!
Just a quick update. Yesterday to my disappointment Kimchi Express was not opened :( So Kennedy's eldest sister treated us at Shukobu at Far East Plaza in the end. The food and grilling was nice, even though grilled food is unhealthy especially the charred parts- Particles of cancer:(
It was a nice meal though.
After that walked around FEP. If I got time I will definitely walk around more !
Had RED hair extensions, cost me SGD$2 !
Below is a picture when I deliberately take my hair extensions out to the front. Sometimes it will be hidden, cos I bought very little fake red hair.
Spot my red hair extensions !
After that Kennedy came over to my house again. Ate durian together. He was so hyped up about the elections. Makes me nervous and excited about it too. After he left, I did homework and watched the elections (halfway I slept).
Glutton us!
I'm holding on by a thread. :/ Feel the fear yet do it anyways.
Recently, I've developed a love for korean food, after subscribing to Maangchi (korean cook) on Youtube. ;D Around once every one to two months I will cook korean food or kimchi. My next aim would be dumplings, or Mandu in Korean language. I chanced upon about a korean buffet on gmarket.com.sg .
Went to the steamboat dinner buffet, with only me and Kennedy. :) It was a lovely dinner, though we were super duper full at the end! The spread of food ! <3 The food that I liked: Enoki mushrooms, beef sukiyaki, marinated chicken, POTATO salad, mussels, and more~~
Left: Spicy soup (Was quite salty and nice), Right: Non spicy soup with ginseng.
Price:
$44 (U.P:$92)
- 4 lunch buffets
- 2 dinner steamboat buffets.
So that is only $7.33 per meal BUFFET.
Where can you get such a good price for meals? Somemore they have beef, chicken, prawns, and GINSENG soup.
Cool price aint it? ;)
The good:
-The ambience is excellent, dim lights and all. There is also a TV there for people who are bored to watch. Also, being a super ulu place makes the surroundings very quiet and peaceful. So it's definitely a good getaway.
-Service was fantastic and staff were friendly and helpful.
- Food tasted good and authentic
- It was worth the value !
The not so good:
- No rice served for the dinner buffet ): So me and Nerdy had to eat yellow noodles.
- Is at tanjong pagar mrt, which is quite far from our homes.
Ratings:
8/10 ! =DD
Will I visit again:
Maybe not. Not because the food was bad. But because buffets are very fatty ): They do have set meals though. Hopefully they can expand to Yishun or ToaPayoh area! Pretty please :)
Am going tommorow to the lunch buffet with Nerdy and family :)
Time is nowadays quite tight for me. So after study time, CCA time, and boyfriend time, I have still a teeny weeny time for friends (: So that's why I try to spend time with friends I truly love. ^^
XDDD
Today was a fruitful day with friends that I love :) Started off with COST lecture. The teacher totally broke down and was pissed with herself and us. I have not much comments actually. Just that everyone has flaws and I wish to just mmob(mind my own business).
Then after that was lunch, which was love. Ate vegetarian food. $3, 2 "meat" 1 vegetable with my favourite BROWN rice (: I absolutely love brown rice because it's healthy and has a chewy texture. Highly recommend everyone to eat brown rice instead of white rice. Nevermind about the ugly appearance, it's high in minerals and gives you extra fibre. I am going to cook some brown rice vermicelli with soup during the weekends.
After that was FIT. Ms Patricia was funny and engaging. I quite like her as a teacher. But I struggled with some of the concepts today.

Sometimes I struggle to maintain my balance in life. Living my life is like walking on a balancing pole - I'm trying to balance but sometimes I fall off balance.
Balancing pole, in case you're wondering what that is:

School gives me hardly an time to breathe. Everyday in my life(not sure about yours) is chionging homework and all. Maybe also because I have quite high expectations in my study contributes to this pressure. This stress, however, is not as much as the time when I was in Xiamen though. Hence, I have to constantly tell myself not to give myself so much stress.
For the subjects that I'm studying this semester, there's some interest but not alot of interest. Not as much as business law last semester <3
Happy 1 Year 1 Month Nerdy Chua (:
I will try my best to love, like cooking for you and laughing together at silly videos because that's what I want to do.
“We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone."
I've heard of this quote a few months back, and it keeps coming back to memory. And as I start to ponder on it I think it's true.
