Suddenly got a headache and feeling giddy now :(
But I'll still blog as I have stuff to update <3
For me, for the past few days I've been spending my time working.
Visited 5 places (1 place per day) - 4 primary schools and 1 community centre. Guiding students on Cyber Wellness in the stationery bus.
Pictures of the 5 places:
Sometimes it's kinda boring, while other times working is SUPER hectic till me and my partner will sweat in an air-conditioned room like mad.
But I never once regretted applying for this job.
Rlly thankful for being given the opportunity.
So I worked with only 2 colleagues so far - W and Y.
W is a bit more laid back. He's 18, from NP HMS. He's very honest, but sleepy most of the time.
Whereas for Y, he is kinda organized and might get uptight at times. He's 17, going to go to RP in one month's time. I find him very polite, gentle and tactful.
Working part-time / odd jobs do remind me of who I was in Subway.
It reminds me of who I am - Work ethic yet having a healthy relationship with work, upbeat, cheerful and fulfilled....
On the other hand, I really disdain school (the focus is not on the people as there are friends that I love to death there, nor is the focus on ngee ann polytechnic, but on school in general).
But anyw, that's a different subject.
-------------------------
Have been spending much time on a new hobby. ;)
That is, for around, 1 month now.
It is none other than makeup and DIY-ing my own skincare! <3
Yup, I've picked it up really recent only.
It's because I used to hold myself back, despite having an interest a few months before this.
I used to think, once I started putting on makeup, I would need to spend hours EACH day to put on makeup and NOT leave the house without it, and I would get insecure and hopeless without it.
You see, I heard of girls who simply broke down because she tried to leave her house without any makeup. Yes, they broke down.
(I'm not saying all girls with makeup are like this. I'm saying, I simply heard stories of such).
But so far, it has not been all that's mentioned above, and it's really fun putting on makeup, especially eyeshadow, for that burst of colour =)
No hopelessness and insecurity whatsoever.
So Nerd bought me a 120 eye colour palette:
Blue eyeshadow:
I'm an amateur in makeup btw hor!
Not much of a professional.
You cant really see it, but I've blended 3 colours - White, Light Blue and Dark Blue. It turned out better than expected. :)
No close up pix.
I find that eyeshadow is rlly incomplete without eyeliner, mascara/falsies.
It just looks incomplete without all of them.
Next would be to try purple, silver, and brown eye makeup (all separately) with my eye palette <3
So that's all folks.
I hope everyone (or polytechnic students that is) are having a fantastic holiday !
Hannah xoxo
